Welcome to the Sea View Cottage - our exclusive waterfront home. There's nothing like it around.
Enjoy 2+ private acres, a private dock, large grassy yard and stunning views of Seaward Cove and the Atlantic Ocean. This 3000 square foot private, New England style home has everything you need for a wonderful vacation for couples, families and friends. It's even an excellent location for girl-cations, family reunions, intimate weddings and memorable honeymoons.
Early America comes alive at Sea View Cottage, with it's wide-plank wood floors, open wood fireplaces, glass french doors that separate living spaces and add to the cozy cottage charm.
It features a first-floor Master Suite, 2 second-floor master suites, and a separate second floor with a large bonus room/bedroom with a king-size bed, a twin bed and a sitting area. This bonus room has it's own private staircase off the kitchen and is apart from the other bedrooms for added privacy. There is a also a small, private den with a queen sleeper sofa and TV on the main floor.
Sea View Cottage is a welcome addition to our portfolio of family vacation rentals. With over 500 5-star reviews on our vacation homes we're thrilled to be able to share this wonderful place with anyone who loves Kennebunkport and the water! This is the one vacation home that we really bought for us, as much as we did as an investment.
Sea View Cottage is just a short 1.25 mile drive, or a nice walk, to Dock Square in downtown Kennebunkport. From this wonderful home you'll enjoy the sights and sounds that come alive along Maine's beautiful coast. And you even have your own private dock, so feel free to bring your boat. There's a public boat launch just 8 miles away.
After a day at the beach, you can enjoy an evening campfire at our large, stone fire pit with family and friends. And you can enjoy cold beer, fine wine and great barbecue on the natural slate patio that overlooks Seaward Cove. The patio even has its own fireplace.
There are dozens of area restaurants, pier bars and cafe's that you'll just love between Cape Porpoise and Kennebunk. Nearby shops, antique dealers, bike rentals, and live entertainment will make for a fun and adventurous stay.
Please keep in mind, there is a 5-night minimum stay mid May through mid October and a 3-night minimum the rest of the year. You may stay fewer nights, but the minimum rate applies. Please contact us with any questions or use the form below to inquire.

- Winter and Spring Rates: January through mid-May: $850/night or $5,600/week - 3-night minimum rate applies for all bookings less than 3 nights. Rates are for up to 8 guests. $50/night for each additional guest. This permits us to charges a lower overall rate for smaller groups and families. There are no booking fees when booked directly with us
- Summer Rates: Memorial Day weekend through Fall Foliage Season (mid October): $2,500/night for up to 8 guests. $100/night for each additional guests. This allows for lower rates for smaller families/groups. A 5-night minimum rate applies for all bookings less than 5 nights. 4 night stays are considered for September and October depending upon availability. There are no booking fees when booked directly with us
- Autumn Rates: Mid October through December: $850/night or $5,600/week - 3-night minimum rate applies for all bookings less than 3 nights. Rates are for up to 8 guests. $50/night for each additional guest. Parties of 4 or less get a 25$ discount. There are no booking fees when booked directly with us.
- Holiday Weeks: Easter Week, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years ~ Additional $1,500 per booking.
- Maine charges an 9% lodging tax on all hotels, motels, campgrounds, resorts and short-term rentals under 28 days in length.
- $300 cleaning fee is added to the total.
- Additional or mid-week cleanings: $250
- A guest is defined as anyone over the age of 1 year.
Sea View Cottage
The Cottage:
This 3000 square foot colonial cottage sits on over 2 private acres of manicured land atop Seaward Cove overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.
It features a first-floor Master Suite, 2 second-floor master suites, and a separate second floor entrance to a large bonus room/bedroom with a king-size bed, a twin bed and a sitting area. This bonus room has it's own private staircase off the kitchen and is apart from the other bedrooms for added privacy.
There is a also a small, private den with a queen sleeper sofa and TV.
Upon request, we can also provide a full height, self-inflating queen-size airbed for additional sleeping anywhere in the house.
This property is comfortable enough for a couple with all first-floor living, or a grand enough for families that need lots of sleeping and entertaining space.
There are 4 bathrooms in total, plus a wonderful outdoor shower.
Sea View Cottage features historic wide-plank wood flooring, 2 indoor wood fireplaces, a large seating island kitchen with granite counters, and a dining room with a fireplace.
The custom slate patio has it's own outdoor fireplace, lots of dining space and a large barbecue gas grill. Off the patio is an outdoor wood fireplace and a large fire pit overlooking Seaward Cove and the Atlantic Ocean. There's even a playhouse for the kids.
Any time, except for extreme low-tide, the dock is great for fishing, swimming, paddle boating, paddle boarding, kayaking and happy hours!
The home and grounds are professionally maintained and the home is professionally cleaned and sanitized between guests.

Please know that we welcome couples, families and friends. We also permit small, family celebrations such as birthdays, anniversaries, and intimate family weddings. Special rules apply.
