The Seaward Cottage

Fully restored to its former glory, one of the original family homes of the renowned Seawards is now available to anyone who loves Kennebunkport. Seaward Cottage is walking distance to Dock Square and everything Kennebunkport has to offer. 

This charming and historic New England cape features a large kitchen with eating island, elegant quartz counter tops, a large dining space, and living room with a stone fireplace on the main floors. The second floor features. 3 bedrooms (2 kings, 1 queen), and a full bath with walk-in shower. The third floor features a large sleeper bonus room with 1 queen and 2 twin beds, and room for more sleeping capacity. 

The home has all-new kitchen appliances, full laundry, wifi, central heating and cooling, a covered front porch, a 3-season sun room for office space and reading, and a rear deck and large, private back yard for partying and barbecuing. 

This wonderful, historic family home has been enjoyed and cherished by the Seaward's for generations, and now it's available to anyone who loves Kennebunkport and wants to make memories with their family and friends. What's even better is you're walking distance to town, bars, restaurants, shops, events, and the beautiful Kennebunk River, where you can watch the tide and boats come in and out.

The charm of this early 20th century architecture comes alive in red, white and blue, all with a 21st century flare.  Book this, or any of our 3 Kennebunkport cottages. They are all special in their own way.

Please keep in mind, there is a 5-night minimum stay mid May through mid October and a 3-night minimum the rest of the year. You may stay fewer nights, but the minimum rate applies.

RATES: $700/night - $1,500/night

• Winter and Spring Rates: January through mid-May: $500/night or $3,500/week for up to 6 guests.  $35/night for each additional guest. 3 night minimum rate applies for all bookings less than 3 nights.  No booking fees when booked with us directly.

• Summer Rates: Memorial Day weekend through Fall Foliage Season (mid October): $1,500/night for up to 6 guests. $35/night for each additional guest. There is a 5-night minimum rate for all bookings less than 5 nights. There are no booking fees when booked directly with us.  4-night stays considered for September and October depending upon availability.

• Autumn Rates: Mid October through December: $600/night or $3,900/week - 3-night minimum rate applies for all bookings less than 3 nights.  Rates are for up to 6 guests. $35/night for each additional guest. Parties of 4 or less receive a 25% discount.  There are no booking fees when booked directly with us.
  

• Holiday Weeks: Easter Week, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years ~ Additional $1,000 per booking. 

• Maine charges an 9% lodging tax on all hotels, motels, campgrounds, resorts and short-term rentals under 28 days in length.

• $300 cleaning fee is added to the total.
• Additional or mid-week cleanings: $250
• A guest is defined as anyone over the age of 1
  

The Cottage:

This cottage is 2400 square feet, has 4 bedrooms ( 3 bedrooms and large sleeper loft), 2 baths, living room with a stone fireplace, wifi and streaming TV, heating and air conditioning, eating island in kitchen, formal dining area, covered front porch, 3-season sun room, rear deck, bbq, and lots of parking.

Two bedrooms have king beds. One has a queen. The large, third-floor loft has a queen bed and  2 twin beds and space for airbeds or sleeping bags (great space for kids!).

The home and grounds are professionally maintained and the home is professionally cleaned and sanitized between guests.

Please know that we welcome couples, families and groups of all sizes. This cottage, like our other cottages, is quaint enough for a couple and large enough for a family or group. In fact, mid October through May we often offer friendly discounts for couples.

This is a new home in our collection of very special Kennebunkport homes. We've owned and operated vacation rentals for more than 20 years, so while we just made this cottage available for 2023, we are planning that next special home for our guests and their friends and families.

• The home is professionally cleaned between guests. Additional cleanings during your stay is optional and available to all guests.
• Bath and bed linens are provided.
• Beach towels, beach chairs, a cooler and umbrella are provided.
• Drip coffee maker, Kuerig and Nespresso coffee makers are provided, along with an assortment of coffees and Kuerig K-cups. (Bring you favorite Nespresso pods)
